Stephanie Becker received funding from the Graduate Student Professional Development in Composition and Writing Theory and Pedagogy travel fund to attend the Pop Culture Association/American Culture Association conference in Boston, where she presented her research, “Riot Grrrls Reinvented: Zine-making as a strategy for queer, feminist, anti-consumerist re-appropriation for at-risk teenage girls.”
