College to Career Alumni Panel

College to Career Alumni Panel – Wednesday, 6-7:30pm, Eddy Room 10. There are a range of careers that can be pursued by liberal Arts graduates.  This panel is a great opportunity for students to get information about how to be successful in starting a nonprofit, running large businesses, and working in multiple sectors. The College to Career panel consists of alumni who have created a successful and meaningful career with their Liberal Arts degree.  Get advice, tips, direction, and best practices that students can use when networking and applying for jobs.

Chauncy Bjork 09’ Economics

Chauncy is the Vice President of Operations for Discovery Research Group, and has served as the General Manager, Director of Call Center Operations, and Call Center Manager for PhoneBase Research, Inc. Chauncy’s job market experience has been entirely from an employer’s perspective since graduating, as he has held a job since he was a student at CSU.  Chauncy has recruited and hired for several high-level position, both launched and closed facilities, and ran a multi-million dollar corporation at the age of 31.

Alan Lind ’81, MBA ‘91

Mr. Alan Lind recently joined Ophir Corporation (Littleton, CO) as the Director of Finance and Operations. Mr. Line is responsible for operational support to ensure that the organization functions effectively.  In addition, Mr. Lind contributes to long-range planning through financial analysis, modeling and forecasting. Prior to joining Ophir, Mr. Lind has served in financial analysis and management roles for over 25 years including his most recent position as a senior manager in the Financial Planning and Analysis group at Jeppesen Sanderson, a Boeing Company. In addition, he has held financial positions with increasing responsibility with Qwest Communications (now Century Link), Manufacturing Sciences Corporation and Lockheed Martin.

Matt Rosazza ’10 Economics

Matt works at Great West Life as Senior Mutual Fund Implementation administrator.  His chief responsibilities are setting up retirement accounts, being in contact with different fund companies and ensuring that mutual fund trades are conducted correctly.
